Peter and Bette have been with WOL for 12 years and on the field for 6 of those. They have a heart for the Fulani people and have two Discipleship Training Centers for the converts. The Fulani people are predominantly Muslim and suffer persecution when they come to Christ. They also have begun the Word of Life Bible Club ministry in Nigeria. Nearly 50 churches are running the Bible Club program and many more are interested. Another aspect of ministry are evangelism crusades to the general population of Nigeria. There have been great results!
In 2006, there were 17,529 Nigerians that were exposed to the Gospel and 5,728 have accepted Christ! In March of 2006, a team of 5 young people came to Nigeria from Word of Life Argentina. Their purpose was to train our Nigerian team to perform the exciting drama, “Born Again to a Living Hope.” Since March, our Nigerian team has done many performances and 3,352 Nigerian young people have accepted Christ. We praise the Lord for these results!
